About this Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Director, Customer Excellence, the Director, Customer Sales Operations will strategize and lead Field Sales, Inside Sales & Customer Service projects and improvement initiatives with a focus on both profitable growth and operational efficiencies across multiple functions within our business. As a Centre Of Excellence Leader, a focus on collaboration, influencing and building partnerships are key success factors as you work with teams such as: Commercial, Sales (National, Regional, Market unit), IT, Finance, Capabilities, Vending and Merchandising teams. The successful candidate must be excited about leading our Market Unit Sales and Customer Sales Solutions Centre sales teams though an end-to-end transformation in our selling approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and integrated planning for Market Unit Sales, Field Execution, Customer Sales Solutions Contact Centre (CSSC), Vending Operations and Merchandising with a cross-functional lens
Lead and participate in project teams to develop and implement cross-functional initiatives
Coach and bring knowledge to key strategies and decisions from other bottlers around the world and other leaders within the CPG industry
Develop and implement productivity goals, targets and reporting at the Market Unit Sales, Merchandising, Vending and Customer Sales Solutions Centre level
Provides input and assistance to overall capability development for the Market Unit Sales organization as it pertains to all avenues of sales (inclusive of the CSSC, Vending and Merchandising teams)
Mentor, coach and promote successful leaders to live our values and holds them accountable for doing the same with their people if they are people leaders
Working closely with the Capabilities team, build and sustain a culture of leader-led capability development, leveraging available tools and resources from across the system as well as designing or importing new tools and technology as required
Responsible for the overall short and long-term strategic planning for the CSSC to drive efficiencies and provide quality service (using the most productive technology and processes)
Designs policies and procedures to ensure consistent effective service for customers while satisfying the business interests of the organization
With the support of the Sr. Manager, Field Execution, steward the RED culture across the organization through scorecard development, management of the auditing process, identifying and communicating opportunities to Market Unit, Regional and National Sales teams and holding the Coke Canada and CCL systems accountable for results
Develop programs that drive maximum EBITDA within our FSV business with the support of the Manager, Vending Initiatives
Collaborate with internal departments within Coke Canada and CCL; Commercialization, RGM, Brand and National/Regional Sales teams to ensure critical execution initiatives are prioritized and implemented in alignment with high-level strategy and business objectives
Operational management, including profit responsibility, of the Vending and Customer Sales Solutions Centre organizations including development and accountability for short- and long-range business plans

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or MBA, MS, MA in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, or another business-related field or equivalent required
8-10 years of sales management experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership and/or National role
Strong Financial Acumen and experience required to developing strategic plans, annual tactical business plans and implementing execution plans
CRM Administrator experience (Spring and Salesforce preferred) and experience with sales-enablement solutions is preferred
Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, Powerpoint, Word
In-depth knowledge and exposure to business process workflows, sales contracts, systems integration and finance/accounting principles is required.
Advanced oral and written communication skills with a proven track record providing business reporting for Senior & Executive leadership.
Strong relationship building, influence and negotiation skills.
Proven facilitation/ presentation skills with ability to decipher and explain new concepts and issues clearly and easily.
Knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods industry is encouraged
Bilingualism is an asset
