Overview
This position, reporting to the Western Region Manager, is responsible for administrating all human resource, accounting and operational activities in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager. This includes assisting with recruitment, liaising with accounting at the head office on matters like payroll and accounts payable and receivable. In addition, the Coordinator will interact with clients, scheduling work and ensuring reporting is completed in a timely manner.
Requirements and responsibilities
· Ensure Technicians have been assigned all needed site-specific training including utilizing ISN and other vendor management sites.
· Schedule jobs and keep planning software updated daily.
· Completes pre-access paperwork and communicates all changes and planning to clients and technicians
· Works together with managers and the president to forecast staffing needs in advance, scheduling at optimal levels to ensure profitability throughout the year
· Assist the manager with consumable and equipment inventory, arranging shipment of equipment.
· Track all health and safety incidents and work with Human Resources to ensure all health and safety training is up to date
· Review timecards and charge sheets for accuracy and compliance with the Collective Agreement
· Coordinate all activities related to the management of the physical office premise
· Assist the Manager in growing the client base through outreach and participation in conferences and trade shows
· Participate in recruitment activities, reviewing resumes setting up interviews, onboarding new technicians and trainees
· Assist Human Resources with Policy review and updates.
· As a member of the management team, participate and assist with all process improvement actions and quality management actives.
Qualifications
A college diploma or a degree in a business field and/or three or more years of experience in a business environment is required. Experience in the field of non-destructive testing or another related trade would be an asset. The ability to work independently and make decisions is key to success in this role. Excellent computing skills in Microsoft Office products is necessary.
Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
