Marketing Apprentice (Level 3) / Marketing Assistant (Apprenticeship)
Want a career in marketing but finding it hard to get that first proper opportunity? Maybe you're in a role that doesn't let you be creative — or you're fresh out of uni, full of ideas, and ready to learn fast. Either way, this is a Marketing Apprentice role that combines hands-on experience with award-winning training through the Working Knowledge Digital Marketing Academy — and we're looking for someone with the drive, curiosity and potential to become a confident, capable marketer. This apprenticeship will set you up brilliantly for a successful career in the modern marketing world.
Working Knowledge is partnering with Zest Leisure Group (a London-based premium fitness & hospitality operator) — based in South West London, operating sites across London Zones 1-4. You'll be employed by Zest Leisure Group, with training and coaching delivered by Working Knowledge throughout the programme.
About Zest Leisure Group
Zest is an SME business that takes pride in delivering a high-quality environment and experience for members and customers — and creating a workplace where people can thrive and develop. Their way of working is built around the 3Ps: People, Process and Product, and they're building an exciting pipeline of future sites across London.
The role
As Zest's Marketing Apprentice, you'll support the team to deliver marketing activity across their sites. You'll get hands-on experience across key channels (email, social, website and reporting), while building practical skills and confidence through structured training and coaching.
This role suits someone early in their career who's organised, curious, and ready to learn fast.
What you'll do (with support)
- Email marketing: Help build and send email campaigns (using templates and guidance), keep lists organised, and support basic reporting.
- Social media: Help plan and schedule posts, draft captions, support community engagement, and keep content consistent with the brand.
- Website updates: Make simple updates to keep pages accurate and on-brand (e.g., offers, timetables, landing pages, blogs).
- Content support: Help coordinate content creation (briefs, assets, approvals) and create simple content such as case studies, posters and short-form video snippets.
- Reporting: Track performance (email results, social engagement, website traffic) and share a simple monthly summary: what happened, what we learned, and what we'll try next.
- Tools & AI: Stay curious about new tools (including AI) and suggest practical ways they could improve content creation or reporting.
- Ad hoc support: Support the team with other marketing tasks as needed — with clear priorities and a focus on your development.
