Why is this role important?
Join us as an Inventory Analyst in our Supply Chain Replenishment team where we bring products from our distribution centres to nearly 2,500 grocery and pharmacy retail stores nationally, and ultimately the homes of millions of Canadians. You will provide analytical support for purchasing and ensuring service level, inventory investment, sales and purchasing revenue are achieved. What you’ll do:
Creation and management of product level forecasts
Management of inventory and all replenishment flows from Vendor to Store
Vendor Management, ensuring all forecast and flow requirements are completed to defined targets/standards
Work across business units and Vendors to co-ordinate flow of goods through the network
Ensure all data management pertaining to forecasts, product and vendor attributes are maintained
Undertake process improvement efforts, primarily with vendors to help improve metrics.
What you’ll need:
Work experience in supply chain, distribution or retail setting and/or post-secondary education in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
Communicate with respect in a clear and concise manner with people across the business including senior leaders.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and previous experience with SAP and JDA Manugistics is an asset.
Detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment with changing demands.
Ability to work independently and with colleagues to address problems.
