Summary of the role
We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter who can take ownership of projects, work hands-on with tools, and guide others on-site. As our team takes on larger residential and commercial builds, we need someone who can step in confidently, plan ahead, and deliver quality from small bathroom renovations to full-scale builds.
Day-to-day work spans drywall, framing, siding, window and door installation, plus occasional cabinetry.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of projects and oversee day-to-day site activities
- Lead and coordinate a small team of workers on-site
- Plan tasks, allocate responsibilities, and ensure work progresses on schedule
- Communicate with clients, team members, and other trades as needed
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Perform and guide framing of walls, roofs, stairs, and floor systems
- Install drywall, siding (metal, hardy), windows, doors, and casings
- Assemble cabinetry, install countertops, and handle finishing details
- Ensure site preparation, organization, and clean-up are completed properly
- Monitor the quality of work and compliance with safety regulations
- Observe and assist during inspections, ensuring standards are met
Qualifications
- 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience
- Ability to lead and coordinate small teams
- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools
- Able to plan, measure, cut, and assemble accurately
- Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license (N or higher)
- Safety tickets (Fall Arrest, AWP, etc.) are an asset
- Roofing and siding experience. Not required but would be a significant asset

Salary: $30 CAD/hour (occasional overtime X1.5)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
