Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking meals that delight our customers while ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
- Must have experience with Dominican cuisine

Pay: $16.77-$20.00 per hour
