POSITION DESCRIPTION
Bee Maid Honey is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our Supply Chain team.
This role plays an important part in ensuring materials are available when needed to support production and customer demand. If you enjoy working with data, building supplier relationships, and solving problems in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.
This is a full-time, term position and is expected to run from July 2026 to July 2027.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will support day-to-day supply chain operations across purchasing, inventory coordination, and inbound logistics. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to help maintain smooth and efficient operations.
You will:
- Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships, including order creation, confirmation, follow-up on delivery timelines, and resolving pricing or quantity discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels, support forecasting activities, and maintain appropriate safety stock to prevent shortages or excess
- Coordinate packaging and materials procurement, including order execution, approvals, and ensuring availability to meet production schedules
- Oversee inbound freight, track shipments, and work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues or delays
- Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, and item master data in ERP systems, ensuring transaction accuracy and supporting reporting needs
- Partner with internal teams to communicate supply risks, support operational needs, and contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’re looking for someone who brings both positive energy and strong attention to detail.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply coordination
- Experience working with ERP systems (Sage X3 is an asset)
- Solid understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong communication skills - you’re clear, professional, and responsive
- Comfort working with systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Fast-paced setting with changing priorities and deadlines
- Primarily office-based, with occasional time in warehouse or production areas
- Regular interaction with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers
- May require flexibility to respond to urgent supply issues outside normal hours
