Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Watering Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating watering trucks to maintain and support landscaping, or agricultural projects. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and proper vehicle handling. Candidates should possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and have experience driving F550. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on infrastructure support and environmental maintenance. in the off season from watering this candidate would switch to Landscape maintenance and join up with our team of professional landscapers.
Duties
- Operate watering trucks to deliver water to designated areas according to project specifications and schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the watering truck to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Maintain accurate logs of water delivery and operational activities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment or materials as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and operation of vehicles.
- Landscape Maintenance will be offered for the out of watering season.
Qualifications
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in driving, heavy equipment operation, or related fields
- Ability to operate vehicles safely over long distances or within job sites.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Prior experience running a water truck.
