Solution Air - Controller
Reporting to the VP Finance, Solution Air Group, the Controller will be responsible for monthly financial reporting and reconciliations, overseeing the flow and accuracy of daily transactions, manufacturing standard cost system and various analysis and project work.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Preparing financial statements and other financial reporting.

Reconciling and analyzing financial results, including sales, gross profit, overhead and variance analysis.

Maintain fixed asset ledger and Capital Expenditure process.

Preparing and analyzing month end reports.
-
Statistical reporting of key performance indicators.
-
Preparing year end audit working papers and schedules.
-
Participate in budget preparation and analysis.

Oversee and manage Inventory control
-
Maintain standard cost system including analysis of cost changes
-
Identifying and implementing efficiencies to the organization’s overall financial administration.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
-
Completed CPA Designation.
-
3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
-
Leadership and management experience are considered an asset.
-
Strong attention to detail with an interest in process improvement.
-
Proficiency in MS Office, with a comprehensive understanding of Excel.
-
The ability to prioritize and multitask and meet deadlines.
-
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
-
Effective communication, organizational and analytical skills.
-
Desire to advance within the organization by taking on increasingly challenging tasks as well as supervisory functions.

Ability to travel in Canada and USA.
