Specialist, Screening Promotions

What you’ll do:
Develops and implements all marketing collateral for BC Cancer Screening Programs, including brochures, fact sheets, infographics, lay summaries and presentations to ensure overall quality, consistency and effectiveness of complex communication materials.
Conceptualizes and produces visual products for promotional, advertising, educational and informational purposes, including the use of photography and animation for web and broadcast.
Reviews and analyzes program data, researches information on intention to screen, investigates best practices and in health promotions and evaluates project outcomes to make recommendations pertaining to development and modifications of marketing/promotion strategies.
Tracks marketing activities and generates evaluation reports detailing effectiveness of each marketing campaign.
Builds strong relationships with internal and external partners, including Health Authority colleagues, stakeholders groups, community representatives and media to create grass root promotion efforts and to leverage screening promotions activities.
What you bring
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as a Marketing, Health Promotion, Public Relations or Communications.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in communications or marketing role.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated skill and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Strong project management skills.
