Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Location: Milton, ON

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Shift Requirements: Continental Days (7:00am – 7:00pm) to start immediately
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Milton. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced warehouse workers, warehouse associates, forklift drivers, and counterbalance forklift operators looking for full-time, long-term employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance forklifts (electric and propane) and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Supply raw materials and packaging materials to production lines to maintain continuous operations.
- Perform warehouse put-away by storing finished goods and work-in-progress inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Offload incoming shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
- Stage products for shipping and receiving.
- Record inventory quantities and storage locations accurately.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory counts as required.
- Operate RF scanners for inventory transactions.
- Wrap finished products using warehouse wrapping equipment.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections, battery charging, and equipment safety checks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Participate in required training programs.
- Complete additional warehouse duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator, Forklift Driver, Warehouse Associate, Warehouse Worker, Material Handler, or Order Picker preferred.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Operator licence (Electric & Propane).
- Valid Raymond Reach Truck or Crown Reach Truck Operator licence required.
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Experience using RF scanners is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 13 kg (29 lbs.).
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work throughout a 12-hour shift.
