Responsible for operating glass polishing equipment to ensure glass products meet required quality and finishing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate glass polishing machines.
- Load and unload glass safely.
- Inspect finished glass for scratches, chips, and other defects.
- Adjust machine settings as required.
- Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Follow production specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Report equipment problems or quality issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating or glass manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to safely handle glass and perform physical work.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
