Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our campus, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, staff rooms, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cleaning tasks
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for moving equipment or supplies
- Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
