Job Overview
PPD Restorations is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Drywaller/Painter to join our team. You must be skilled in both drywalling and painting, especially for smaller projects where you’ll handle both from start to finish. We primarily serve the Social Housing sector, with most of our projects based in Eastside Vancouver, though locations may vary. Please note that these environments are not new construction. The properties are primarily located along Hastings Street and are occupied by tenants who may be dealing with mental health and substance use issues. As a result, working conditions and site access may be more challenging than conventional sites.
In this role, you will assist with restoring damaged structures and focus on repairing finishing drywall surfaces to a high standard. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship will play a key role in ensuring exceptional results and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Proper preparation of a large variety of surfaces and situations
- Site Protection
- Tidiness & Site Maintenance
- Being a team player and working well with all and other contractors on sites
- Reporting progress to Project Manager and providing photos
- Proficient in installing drywall along with applying joint compound
- Ability to insulate, apply a vapor barrier, drywall, sand, prime/paint affected areas to present an outstanding finished product
- Texturing skills (new texture and/or blend repairs) and proficient in installing, sanding, priming, and painting ceilings, walls, and casings/baseboards.
- Advise on material choices and project requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
