Position Overview:
Trade knowledge and work experience in pipeline construction, pipe & structural shop fabrication, facility maintenance/shutdowns. Proficient in multiple welding techniques, such as SMAW, FCAW and GTAW. Have a strong ability to read engineered drawings and blueprints. I take pride in the work that I do, and I enjoy taking on new challenges
Position Requirements:
- Analyzing engineered drawings & blueprint specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
- Pipe Fabrication
- Cutting, Beveling, and welding piping components
- Demonstrate safe work practices and proper welding procedures
- Working as a team to complete tasks safely
- Follow all OHS standards and site requirements
Minimum Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Minimum 10 years' experience
- Red Seal Journeyman Welder
- B-Pressure Ticket
- CWB FCAW all position
- CWB SMAW all position
- First Aid
- H2S Alive
- WHMIS
- CSO
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform (considered an asset)
- Confined Space (considered an asset)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Wage: $105.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Travel Pay
- LOA where applicable
