Keystone School is a private co-ed school in downtown Toronto, serving both local and international students. As an IB Diploma Programme Candidate School, we offer a supportive, academically rigorous environment with small class sizes and a strong focus on inquiry-based learning.
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Math Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach high school mathematics (Grades 9–12), including senior courses
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons using inquiry-based approaches
- Support problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world application of math
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school initiatives
- Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities
Qualifications
- OCT certification (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Experience teaching high school math
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Comfort integrating technology into teaching
Preferred
- IB experience or familiarity with IB approaches
- Background in inquiry-based or project-based learning
- Experience in a private or independent school
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
