Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Separator Operator and Clean-up Technician to join our Maple Lodge, Stratford Division team. This role involves operating separation equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting overall production processes to ensure high-quality chicks. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on animal welfare, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to uphold our company's commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Operate and monitor separator machinery used to ensure proper separation of chicks and egg debris.
- Perform routine clean-up and sanitation of equipment and work areas in compliance with CFIA standards.
- Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety protocols related to sanitation, and machinery operation.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation procedures and inspections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by adhering to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in agriculture is preferred but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations.
Pay: From $20.91 per hour
