Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mount Forest. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing facilities by maintaining and repairing equipment. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in supporting our mission of delivering high-quality print products efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in training junior maintenance staff.
Qualifications Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics.
- Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
