Our group of pubs consists of 5 pubs operated under the same ownership. Kampus Brewing Company, Joyce on 4th, Limericks, Dixons and Windsor rose Walden. We are currently looking for positions at multiple stores
Calgary's Best Pubs is hiring a sous chef to help lead and operate one of our kitchens. The sous chef position is a working chef position with the complete ability to run and operate all areas of the kitchen in absence of the kitchen manager on a daily basis while managing a culinary team. The sous chef will work directly with the Kitchen manager in executing daily routines in order to maximize food service and meet daily and weekly objectives.

-Minimum 2 year in Management in high volume kitchens

Responsibilities
· Ensure that the service line of the kitchen is in complete control at all times.
· Ensure that the kitchen is clean and in proper order at the beginning, during and at the end of every shift.
· Ensure that all menu items and recipes are being prepared according to Calgary's Best Pubs recipe guides and plating manuals.
· Ensure that all food products is prepared and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations set out by AHS and Calgary's Best Pubs.
· Ensure that all staff members finish and complete all tasks set out for them during a shift.
· Following Calgary's Best Pubs policies, memos and tasks set out by them.
· Assisting in all aspects of Human Resources
· Daily communication with Head chef
· Coaching and training all cooks to highest potential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
