Affinity Law, a reputable real estate law firm located in Markham, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law and possess the skills necessary to handle various real estate transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, refinances, and title transfers.
Prepare and review legal documents, such as agreements of purchase and sale, deeds, and mortgage documents.
Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, and other relevant parties.
Conduct title searches and due diligence.
Coordinate closings and manage post-closing documentation.
Maintain accurate and organized client files and records.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk in a law firm setting.
Law Clerk diploma or equivalent education.
In-depth knowledge of real estate law, procedures, and regulations in Ontario.
Proficiency with real estate law software (experience with Clio Manage and Clio Grow is an asset).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files efficiently.
