101 Medical Centre is a patient-centred Family and Specialty Medicine Facility located at a prime, busy intersection in North Toronto. Established in 2014, we have grown into a multidisciplinary team committed to providing comprehensive, effective care. We offer services across a wide range of specialties, including Family Medicine, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Neurofeedback, and specialized wellness programs. As part of our commitment to families in our community, we are expanding our mental health team to include a dedicated specialist focused on child and adolescent care. Our psychotherapy services draw on the strength of an interdisciplinary network, allowing you to collaborate with experienced psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians to design holistic, personalized treatment plans.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will manage a clinical caseload focused primarily on children, adolescents, and their families. You will address moderate to severe cases, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to younger demographics, including therapies focused on:
● Anxiety, depression, and stress management in youth
● Behavioural regulation and anger management
● ADHD, OCD, and neurodevelopmental coping strategies
● School stress, social skills building, and peer relationship dynamics
● Trauma, crisis intervention, and self-esteem building
● Parent coaching and family dynamics support

Roles and Responsibilities:
● Perform comprehensive psychological and behavioural assessments for children and adolescents.
● Provide evidence-based individual and/or family counselling.
● Collaborate closely with our internal psychiatrists and physicians to integrate care (e.g., medical and psychotherapeutic interventions).
● Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as required, and maintain high-quality clinical documentation.
● Provide timely communication with the administrative team regarding patient needs.
What You Bring:
● In-Person Availability: Ability to regularly conduct in-person sessions at our North Toronto clinic location. (While digital support may complement care, our focus for this role is delivering face-to-face clinical support for youth and families.
● Education and Registration: Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field. Must be a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in good standing with the CRPO, or a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the OCSWSSW.
● Clinical Experience: Dedicated clinical experience providing structured psychotherapy to children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions or psychiatric disorders.
● Modality Expertise: Strong clinical framework in modalities suited for youth (e.g., CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-Based therapies, or Play/Art-informed therapy assets).
● Strong report-writing skills and experience generating high-quality clinical documentation.
