Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. This role involves executing complex projects with precision, reading schematics and blueprints, and utilizing a wide range of hand and power tools. The Journeyman/Woman will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across diverse tasks such as concrete forming, tile laying, siding installation, roofing, cabinetry, and restoration. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying with precision.
- Install cabinetry, siding, roofing materials, flooring, and perform siding and roofing repairs or replacements.
- Conduct electrical wiring, plumbing installations or repairs, and electrical troubleshooting as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with construction painting, caulking, heavy lifting, and assembly tasks to complete projects efficiently.
- Read construction plans to estimate materials needed and assist with construction estimating processes.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quality craftsmanship on time and within scope.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman in construction or manufacturing environments.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, masonry, carpentry (including woodworking), roofing, siding installation, flooring installation (including tile laying), cabinet installation, and restoration projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools; CNC experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is advantageous.
- Experience with rebar installation, drywall finishing, caulking techniques, plumbing systems, electrical wiring or troubleshooting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites or manufacturing facilities. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple trades with attention to detail while adhering to safety standards. Candidates should demonstrate versatility across various construction disciplines and possess excellent problem-solving skills to contribute effectively to complex projects.
Pay: $26.20-$44.45 per hour
