We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and/or Manual Osteopathic Therapist (MOT) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy and/or manual osteopathic treatments tailored to each client's individual needs.
- Assess clients' health history, concerns, and physical condition to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver effective treatments to support pain relief, injury recovery, improved mobility, relaxation, and overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential SOAP notes and client records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching, self-care, and wellness strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and recommend appropriate treatment options.
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional care, professionalism, and excellent communication to encourage long-term client retention.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide outstanding client care.
- Stay current with industry best practices, continuing education, and professional licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body or a qualified Manual Osteopathic Therapist with recognized training and certification.
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Previous clinical experience is an asset; motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and medical terminology.
- Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning abilities.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Confidence in your ability to encourage repeat visits through quality care and genuine client connection.
- Professional, reliable, and organized, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensing standards.
Certifications and Skills Considered an Asset
- Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- TMJ Treatment
- Thai Massage
- Cupping Therapy
- Shockwave Therapy
- Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities
