Commercial Transport Mechanic -

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on all types of heavy trucks and trailers
- CVIP inspections
- Use of various diagnostic software to assist in troubleshooting
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Help train and guide apprentices to perform quality work safely
Qualifications
- Red Seal Technician's preferred
- Valid CVIP inspectors certificate preferred
- Four years of Heavy Truck and Trailer repair experience
- Good attitude and motivation to perform quality work
- Strong attention to detail

Salary information: $49 per hour (Red seal) up to $54.50 per hour (Red Seal, Foreman, night shift 5 yr bonus and CVIP inspector) Apprentice wage starts at 60% Red seal base wage.
Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: Heavy Duty Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Truck Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Service Technician
