The Role

The BRS Channel Compensation Team is responsible for the payment of internal and external commissions for all Bell Residential Services, including Fibe TV, internet and home phone. As the Specialist, Channel Compensation, the successful candidate will develop and execute compensation strategy, manage the compensation budget, and prime compensation projects for the team. This position reports to the Senior Manager – BRS Channel Compensation.

Process compensation payments to our various partners across the Retail and Neighborhood marketing channels
Validate sales compensation inquiries and respond back to the sales rep
Develop & present business cases to Bell executives and external vendors
Participate in compensation negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders
Work with various sales teams to align sales strategy with compensation
Work with Finance team to guide in tracking performance over budget and forecasts
Assist leader and team specialists with setting fair commissions for various transactions
Providing valuable feedback on compensation structure, found through audit, to reduce incoming inquiries

Critical Qualifications:
Ability to use data to guide in strategic decision-making
Candidate must have experience building business cases and proposing recommendations
Ability to build effective presentations with PowerPoint
The individual must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Duties are to be completed in an efficient and professional manner at all times
Excellent attention to accuracy and detail and ability to interpret legal contracts
Experience with managing projects
Organized team-player with ability to work well under time pressure, meet tight deadlines and deal effectively under stress
Experience dealing with confidential information
Ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
Pro-active with ability to work independently
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
