Job Summary
We are seeking 20 experienced professional spray, brush, and roller painters to join our team. This role involves applying paint and coatings to various surfaces in residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial settings. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction painting, industrial painting, and related skills, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. Candidates should demonstrate excellent time management, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This is a paid position suitable for skilled painters looking to contribute to diverse projects with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers with precision and attention to detail.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting projects.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Perform rigging as necessary for elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
- Ensure proper application of coatings in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
- Assist in project setup and teardown, including scaffolding or other rigging requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools related to painting and surface preparation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and surface sealing methods.
- Strong understanding of rigging procedures for elevated work areas.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Experience with schematics reading is preferred but not mandatory.
- Construction background with familiarity in carpentry or related trades is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship in every project undertaken.
Pay: $17.64-$30.00 per hour
