Established, successful wealth management practice seeking to hire a junior Advisor who would like to grow their own practice while providing the other Advisors with Administrative support and receiving a guaranteed income.
This unique position allows for you to work on developing your own clientele in an office with experienced Advisors who can provide you with industry guidance. You will have access to a furnished office and the use of office equipment as you work to become either a full time Advisor or continue in this hybrid model.
Your Administrative duties will include:
1. Client Relationship
* You will be the first point of contact for clients when they call or come into the office. An atmosphere of respect and professionalism is critical to our joint success.
* Manage client email communications to ensure timely response
* Organize client events and functions.
2. Processing Duties
* Processing and generating of account documentation including: deposits and withdrawals, trades, account opening, transfers, changing of banking information or address, changing of SWPs or PACs, internal account transfers and other administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Proactively assist the Advisors with keeping client accounts current for KYC.
* Proactively assist the Advisors with keeping KYP records current.
* Assist clients in completing documents that have been left at the front counter for them (usually for signing or for pickup).
* Follow up to ensure completion of trades, ensuring processing accuracy, proper settlement and make adjustments or corrections as needed.
* Collaborate with Head Office and Compliance whenever necessary.
3. Office Duties
* Order office supplies as needed (paper, printer cartridges, sticky notes, etc) as well as cleaning and maintenance supplies.
* Keep the office tidy and organized.
Requirements:
* Friendly, professional and confident.
* Previous office experience and familiarity with the financial services industry.
* Experience with MS Office programs, scanning and uploading documents, DocuSign.
* Ability to learn new systems and programs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
