What you’ll do

Proactively partner with leaders to identify and address people issues or organizational design challenges including providing expert advice to develop creative solutions.

Support people leaders by offering guidance on strategic initiatives, change management, and team development to ensure the successful implementation of HR strategies.

Serve as a trusted advisor by presenting multiple perspectives to leaders, challenging the status quo, and expanding their capabilities.

Contribute to recruitment and talent acquisition by collaborating with leaders to identify staffing needs, manage the recruitment process, and ensure we attract top talent.

Collaborate with various internal experts to provide constructive feedback and drive the development of effective business unit programs and solutions.

Seek opportunities to enhance the return on investment (ROI) of people programs and improve the team member experience.

Share your unique experiences and perspectives with your Human Resources colleagues to enrich our collective knowledge.

Over 5 years of experience in strategic human resources roles.

Understanding of the Canada Labour Code and federal oversight of employment practices.

While not mandatory, education in Human Resources or a related field and a CPHR designation are considered strong assets.
