Doggieville MTL and Ruby Café MTL are looking for a motivated and organized HR or recruitment student to join us part-time and support our hiring process.
This is a great opportunity for someone studying Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Hospitality Management, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in recruitment, employee onboarding, and small business operations.
Responsibilities include:- Posting job openings on different platforms- Reviewing resumes and applications- Pre-screening candidates based on availability, experience, and fit- Coordinating interviews and trial shifts- Following up with applicants- Helping organize hiring documents and candidate tracking- Supporting onboarding processes for new staff- Helping improve our recruitment systems and internal proceduresIdeal candidate:
Currently studying HR, business, psychology, hospitality, or a related field- Strong communication and organization skills- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented- Comfortable speaking with candidates by email, phone, or message- Able to work independently and follow instructions
Interested in small business, hospitality, pet care, and team buildingSchedule:
Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week.Hybrid position: mostly remote, with occasional in-person work at our Montreal location.
Compensation:Paid hourly position. Compensation to be discussed based on experience. Important:This role is designed to support the hiring process.
