Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver orders promptly to customers’ locations, ensuring food arrives hot and intact
- Navigate efficiently using maps or GPS technology to find delivery addresses quickly
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing friendly service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately when required, maintaining proper transaction records
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle, performing basic safety checks regularly
- Assist with preparing orders for delivery by verifying order accuracy and packaging items securely
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries to ensure safety for yourself and others
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, demonstrating strong communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy items such as pizza boxes or bags repeatedly throughout shifts
- Comfortable moving around in various environments, including loading/unloading deliveries and navigating different weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently and accurately
