Under the supervision of Community Recreation Coordinator, the Youth Program Supervisor organizes and delivers registered and drop in recreation and youth programs. The Youth Supervisor recommends improvements to Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) youth and family recreation programs based on observation, client feedback and surveys. They assist with developing and updating policies and procedures. The Youth Program Supervisor assists with program registration, equipment and Community Centre bookings. They provide mentoring and leadership to youth through Kids Club/STAR Program, Teens on Weights, Teen Zone, Youth Orientated Bus Trips and oversees youth/family orientated events.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school Diploma and some experience in recreation programming.
