You will have the opportunity to be apart of the opening team for Live Nation’s newest Canadian venue, History. A state of the art venue, with a capacity of up to 2,500 and the goal of hosting over 200 concerts and events annually, you will play a big role in truly making this venue a Toronto staple. Handle duties including; stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, and wine, including lifting/moving up to 25lbs.
Perform various opening and closing barback duties. Ensuring the bar is consistently up to appropriate standards for flawless execution
Ensure stock is rotated and stored correctly, reporting any damage and waste.
Maintains back of house areas including stockrooms, making sure they are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Energetic and willingness to be active in the workplace, completing tasks that are both physical and repetitive
Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and bring them to the attention of a bartender/server, manager and/or security
Create an atmosphere where coworkers are connected and commited through seamless communication and the willingness to help others win
Must be Smart Serve Certified and atleast 19 years of age or older
1-2 years of experience as a barback or similar role in a high-volume environment with high standards
Knowledge of various spirits, beers, wines and champagnes
Takes great initiative and is able to anticpate the needs of bartendersMust be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
Strong communication skills, written and verbal in
Liases with F&B management team on par levels and various other food and beverage needs
A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!
You’ve found the balance of being respectful and professional whilst being fun and jovial in a work environment
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
