Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will help the crew in the installation of interlocking stone, pavers, and other hardscape materials on residential and commercial sites. This role requires strong work ethic, hands-on experience in hardscape installation, and the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setting grades, elevations, and ensure proper drainage for installations.
- Operate machinery such as skid steers, compactors, and saws.
- Lay base materials and install interlocking pavers, retaining walls, curbs, edging, steps, and related features.
- Ensure job site safety and maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Communicate regularly with project managers and crew lead to report progress and resolve issues.
- Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in interlock/hardscape installation.
- Knowledge of proper base preparation, compaction, drainage, and paver laying techniques.
- Experience with natural stone, masonry, or landscape construction.
- Valid driver’s license (DZ license or equipment operator certification is an asset).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
