Art Factree is an immersive art experience store designed to ignite inspiration, foster creativity, and engage individuals in various forms of artistic expression. We are currently in search of a Sales Associate to join the team at our store at CF Rideau Centre.

As a Sales Associate, you will report directly to the Store Manager. You will work as part of the team to create and maintain a positive atmosphere within the store as well as to deliver outstanding customer experiences. The Sales Associate represents the brand, operates in a professional manner, engages customers, and supports teamwork.
Experience in a Department store/mall environment required.
Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for customers
- Assist customers or provide guidance as and when required
- Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Develop a deep understanding of the products offered as well as the services provided
- Drive sales by engaging with customers, upselling products and services, and sharing product knowledge
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for art and creativity
- Bachelor's degree
- Background or education in art or a related field considered an asset
- 2-3 years of retail sales, cash handling and customer service experience in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and Detail oriented
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets
- Ability to engage and build relationships with customers
- Ability to recognize and execute selling opportunities while creating customer experiences that makes them want to come back
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a dynamic retail store setting
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays (general mall hours)
- Adhere to all health & safety and security procedures
- Willingness to continuously learn, grow, and stay updated on current trends
