WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Conduct thorough data reconciliations daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Tracking and loading orders/trades into our investor software applications.
- Providing support for monthly equity close process on each fund.
- Assisting with monthly investor queries.
- Calculating and processing monthly distribution and commission payments, as well as quarterly trailer fee calculations + payments.
- Generating monthly fund reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting with monthly fund performance reporting.
- Collaborating with external auditors during year-end audits and tax season.
- Assisting with the annual tax reporting function, including T3/T5 reporting.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business Administration with a finance concentration.
- 1-2 years of data reconciliation or financial modeling experience preferred.
- Interest in pursuing a financial and or financial data designation (CFA/CAIA/FDP) a strong signal of intent.
- CSC (Canadian Securities Course) is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure work environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. Possesses the right blend of collaboration, flexibility, and involvement to achieve results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an expert proficiency in Excel, encompassing VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF/S, Tables, Sorting/Filtering, Pivot Tables and VBA/Macro experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Demonstrated capacity for change, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and team requirements.
