Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Coffee Shop Manager/Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry is highly desirable, including barista experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage transactions accurately
- Supervise team members, including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all areas of the establishment.
- Assist with food service activities such as serving customers, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including kitchen areas and customer service zones.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers when necessary.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests and team members alike.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to oversee food handling procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Previous barista experience or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and restaurant operations is desirable.
