Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to help keep our collision repair facility clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe and professional work environment for both employees and customers.
This position requires flexibility to work day and afternoon shifts, based on operational needs.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and maintain shop floors throughout the day.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins.
- Clean customer waiting area, offices, washrooms, and lunchroom.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas and workstations.
- Restock washroom and kitchen supplies.
- Keep shop equipment and common areas clean and organized.
- Assist with shop organization, including moving supplies and materials as needed.
- Help maintain the exterior of the building, including sweeping sidewalks and seasonal cleanup.
- Safely dispose of waste materials according to company procedures.
- Perform other general maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work both day and afternoon shifts as scheduled.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending, walking, and standing.
- Comfortable working in an automotive or collision repair environment.
- Valid driver's license is required
Pay: $25.00 per hour
