POSITION: National Account Manager- Amazon
REPORTS TO: National Account Manager
LOCATION: Mississauga ON-home office
What you will do:
The successful applicant will assume responsibility for their respective division(s) for Amazon Canada focusing on profitable YoY growth, refinement of the amazon.ca shopping experience, product forecasting, POS monitoring, as well as guidance for strategic whitespace expansion.
How you will spend your time:
Increase the sales portfolio for your respective division(s) with amazon.ca
Prepare and present business plans to include:
Initiating and planning account promotional plans
Co-ordinating divisional channel manager activities
Establishing new product development listings with the account
Responsible for account P&L management for respective division(s) to include:
Top line sales
Account ownership to include:
Be the key contact with Amazon’s Vendor Manager(s) and own the relationship
Partner with the Channel team to execute profitable business plans
Partner with the demand team and own product forecasting ownership for respective division(s)
Track and analyze POS results
Specific focus on actions to retain Buy Box and reduce Out of Stock issues
Liaise with corresponding U.S. Sales and Category Management teams to ensure North American alignment
Work with the team’s Category Analyst to manage the on-site shopping experience for amazon.ca including Andon Cord and compliance monitoring, pricing maintenance, and continual improvement of top listings and A+ content
What we need:
College or University graduate with degree or diploma in Business or another relevant field of study
5+ years’ experience in Sales/Marketing with a record of demonstrated achievement and leadership, strong team player
Creativity and strategic thinking skills
Excellent selling and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and data skills
Good understanding of finance and P&L management
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-Motivated with the ability to work well independently
Strong organizational and time management skills
Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
Amazon experience a plus
