What You’ll Do
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney or Senior Contracts Specialist to provide part-time support reviewing and advising on international, project-based commercial contracts. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional seeking flexible, ongoing work without a full-time commitment.
Your role will involve:
- Review, redline, and advise on project-related commercial contracts across multiple jurisdictions, including:
- Customer contracts and master services agreements
- Engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), or other project delivery agreements
- Vendor, supplier, and subcontractor agreements
- Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions
- Advise on key contract terms such as scope of work, pricing, payment milestones, liability caps, indemnities, warranties, governing law, and dispute resolution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, engineering, and finance) to support efficient contract execution
- Provide occasional support on contract templates or process improvements
This position can be based in our Burlington office or remotely in Canada or the United States.
What You Offer
- A licensed lawyer in good standing in Canada or the United States or equivalent experience in a senior contracts role
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating complex, project-based or international commercial agreements
- Experience within engineering, construction, or other project-driven environments
- Comfortable working across different legal systems and governing law frameworks
- Practical, solutions-oriented approach to risk management
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
