Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and standards
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to take orders and answer questions
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
