Experience
Specific Skills
We're looking for an industrial sewing machine operator with fabric / pattern cutting skills. Previous experience with oil field or pipeline products is considered a strong asset. You will need to:
- Operate industrial sewing machines (like JUKI)
- Operate sewing machines to join sections of materials (canvas, PVC, fiberglass) into finished products on a piece-work or production basis
- Read plans/drawings to cut & mark materials as needed
- Team player who can also work by themselves
Equipment and Machinery
Experience in Single needle machine; Double needle machine; Industrial sewing machine, Fabric / PVC Welder, Straight Knife Blade / Cutter
Transportation/Travel
Information: Public transportation is available, Car preferred
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Sitting, PPE needed for fiberglass materials (masks & gloves provided)
Sewing Experience
Commercial and Industrial Type of Materials; Canvas, PVC, Fiberglass. Please Do Not Apply if you ONLY have garment tailoring / sewing experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Experience:
- Juki: 1 year (preferred)
- Industrial Sewing: 1 year (preferred)
