Duties:
Assembly of large complex parts per traveler, blue prints, engineering drawings, &/or ABS instructions.
Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finish products using hand and power tools.
Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
Deburring, grinding, frilling, tapping, honing, torqueing as needed.
Degreasing, cleaning, organizing, creating, packaging as required.
Operate cranes to transport or position large parts as required.
Qualifications:
Good mechanical aptitude
Medium strength demands capable of lifting up to 50 Lbs.
Experience with use of air tools, impact wrenches, die grinders, electrical drills, torque equipment and general labour.
Experience lifting heavy parts with forklift and overhead cranes.
Ability to understand and carry out written instructions, job travelers, procedures & drawing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawing, & schematics as asset.
