Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Travel Agent to join our team. This position is for someone who already has experience working in the travel industry and is comfortable handling customer bookings from start to finish.
You will assist clients with flights, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel arrangements while providing professional and friendly customer service.
Previous travel agent experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Help clients plan and book flights, hotels, vacation packages, tours, cruises, and car rentals.
- Understand clients' travel needs, budgets, and preferences.
- Search for suitable travel options and provide accurate quotes.
- Make new bookings and handle changes, cancellations, and other requests.
- Provide information about baggage, visas, travel documents, and airline requirements.
- Assist customers before and after booking when issues or questions arise.
- Keep accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer information.
- Stay up to date with airline policies, fares, and travel requirements.
- Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
Requirements
- Previous professional Travel Agent experience is required.
- Experience using Sabre or another GDS/reservation system is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of airline bookings, fares, ticketing, and travel procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good sales skills and the ability to recommend suitable travel options.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and bookings at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who already understands the travel business and can confidently assist customers with their travel needs.
Pay: $18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 46.0 per week
Work Location: In person
