Job Overview
We are seeking an upbeat, enthusiastic, reliable individual for a Line Cook position at the Belvedere Golf and Country Club. Must be able to drive. At least 2 years culinary experience preferred. Duties include, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- A La Carte and Banquet services
- Concession Set up
- Assist in putting away food deliveries
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
- Capability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in food quality.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and cuisines.
