COMMON AREA ATTENDANT - CALEDON (ALTON), ON
The Common Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and sanitation in various public areas within the clubhouse and facility, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, restaurants and other shared spaces. This role is crucial in creating a positive and welcoming environment for staff, guests, and visitors.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner.
· Prioritize the guest experience by delivering memorable moments; every guest, every time.
· Perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces with a high attention to detail.
· Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
· Maintain the cleanliness of floors by regularly vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, and addressing any spills promptly.
· Clean and sanitize public restrooms regularly, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Ensuring supplies are neatly placed with care.
· Responsible for multiple areas throughout the property including common areas, washrooms, locker rooms, restaurants, event spaces, pro shop and back of house employee areas.
· Additional requirements of the role may include cleaning of guest suites from time to time as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager.
· Respond to guest requests called in from the Concierge team.
· Deliver products to guest rooms as required with proper presentation of items and welcoming nature to the resort guests.
· Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment for all occupants.
· Monitor and report any maintenance issues or supply shortages.
· Utilize large cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and industrial cleaning equipment to maintain facilities.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred.
· Ability to follow cleaning protocols and use cleaning equipment effectively.
· Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move equipment and supplies.
· Ability to push, pull and lift up to 60lbs
· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
· Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
· Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines.
· This role typically involves working indoors in various public spaces, working outdoors may be occasionally required. The schedule may include evenings, weekends, evenings and holidays, and overnights as required.
· Valid Driver’s license (G1, G2 or G) is required.
