We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager (Chinese Speaking) to join our warehouse team! The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and delivering products. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in operating warehouse equipment and sets the standard for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations. As a leader, you will guide your team in adhering to these safety protocols while providing constructive feedback to boost productivity and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery to stores.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high standards of safety and accuracy, providing feedback to drive team success.
- Lead the delivery of orders to stores by managing accurate picking and packing processes, ensuring all items are ready for dispatch according to schedule.
- Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods by scheduling deliveries, managing drivers, and confirming that products arrive at stores on time and in optimal condition.
- Supervise the receiving process by checking all incoming shipments for accuracy, properly documenting and storing them in the correct locations.
- Organize and manage the stocking of merchandise in designated areas to maximize space and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to verify stock levels.
- Collaborate with Buyer teams and other departments to enhance workflow and operational effectiveness.
- Lead the effort to ensure the safe operation of warehouse equipment and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Address operational challenges as they arise and implement continuous improvement measures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management, with proven experience leading a team.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Expert in operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of spoken Cantonese/Mandarin.
This is a full-time position, training is provided to ensure the successful candidate is fully equipped to excel in the role.
