We are currently looking for a talented individual to work in our shop in the role of
- Delivery Swamper / Shop Labourer
YOUR ROLE
As a Delivery Swamper/Shop Labourer, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, assisting with site deliveries, and ensuring materials are transported safely. When not on deliveries, you will support the shop by working on the assembly line, helping with cabinet construction, and assisting with general shop tasks using JMV’s equipment
RESPONSIBILITES AND EXPECTATIONS
· Must be able to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs as part of daily tasks
· Drive 3 ton & 5 ton box trucks, deliver all items safely to various job sites
· Able to use tables saws, all hand tools, planer, jointer, sanders etc. is seen as an asset.
· Able to help with Shop Labour during Non-Delivery Days
· Must be available for early start times, typically 7:00AM-3:30PM, with occasional starts as early as 5:00AM
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
· Good communication skills.
· A good work ethic, dependable and on time to work daily
· Be Physically Fit
· Is a Team Player, Works well with others
· An interest in long term employment.
· A valid BC driver’s license.
· 3 ton & 5 ton driving experience is seen as an asset
