Job Description
Nova Pole Industries is a growing Canadian manufacturing company committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team.
This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for overtime and career growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, monitoring production quality, and ensuring workplace safety standards are followed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Perform machine setup and basic adjustments as required
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Record production data and complete required documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general production and material handling duties as needed
- Report equipment issues or maintenance requirements to supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
