Licensed CCPA required for part time position in a busy community plastic surgery office.
Please note that Physician Assistant is a regulated health profession in Canada that requires both a Masters degree from an accredited university training program and a license. Please only apply if you meet these criteria.
Responsibilities include working closely with the plastic surgeon and nurses to care for both OHIP covered patients and private-pay cosmetic patients.
Skills required: Skin assessment, wound care/dressings, biopsy completion, ED&C, cryotherapy, interpretation and communication of pathology reports, mole mapping, skin cancer follow up
Part time position hours Monday-Friday with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend hours. Exact hours to be discussed.
Must be a team-player and thrive in a busy practice environment
The candidate must have completed or be completing the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada (PACCC) accredited training program.
Pay: From $48.00 per hour
