Speech-Language Pathologist
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric and adult clients with a range of speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing needs.
The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans, and provide engaging therapy designed to help clients build effective communication skills, increase confidence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

The role also includes providing supervision to Communication Disorders Assistants (CDAs) in accordance with CASLPO standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric and adult clients presenting with speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each client’s strengths, goals, and clinical needs.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy targeting areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, social communication, fluency, oral-motor skills, and swallowing.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate to support meaningful outcomes.
- Maintain complete, accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with CASLPO standards, regulations, and professional requirements.
- Provide appropriate and timely supervision to Communication Disorders Assistants (CDAs) in compliance with CASLPO supervision requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare and allied health professionals to promote continuity of care and coordinated service delivery.
- Support early intervention and provide families, caregivers, and educators with practical strategies to facilitate communication and skill development beyond therapy sessions.
- Educate clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals regarding assessment results, treatment recommendations, and strategies for ongoing support.
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical research, assessment tools, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and developments relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical, compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with CASLPO.
- Professional liability insurance with a minimum of $2 million in coverage.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with standardized assessment tools.
- Experience and/or demonstrated ability to provide timely and appropriate CDA supervision in accordance with CASLPO requirements.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and clinical documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practice and the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based, high-quality client care.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
